Cheese & Vegemite Scrolls
Looking for an easy lunchbox filler that will be eaten every time and not come home at the end of the day? These Cheese and Vegemite Scrolls are the perfect flavour combo of soft dough, cheesy goodness and savoury deliciousness. Using our Spreads will help to give your kids the Vitamins and Omega 3 they need to stay active!

Ingredients
- 2 cups self raising flour
- 90g Wonder Spread Dairy Free or Dairy Blend chilled
- 150ml milk
- 2 tbs Wonder Spread Dairy Free or Dairy Blend, for spreading
- 5 tbs Vegemite
- 80g cheddar cheese (or your favourite cheese)
Method

Preheat oven to 200°C (fan-forced).

Grease and line a round baking tin with baking paper.

Add the Wonder Spread into a bowl with self-raising flour and mix until a breadcrumb texture forms.

Add the milk and mix gently until the mixture forms a dough.

Knead the dough, on a lightly floured cutting board, until smooth.

Roll the dough into a long rectangular shape, about 1 cm thick.

Spread the Wonder Spread and then the Vegemite over the dough, leaving a 1cm border.

Grate the cheese before sprinkling it over the Vegemite.

Starting from the long edge of the rectangle, roll the dough firmly into a log.

Cut the roll into small slices and place into the baking tin.

Bake for 20 minutes or until golden.

Leave the scrolls to cool, then enjoy warm or pack into the lunchbox for a Cheesy Vegemite treat.
We don't want anything to go to waste, so if there are leftovers, the scrolls can be stored in the fridge in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
